Any fun facts?

I’m obsessed with birds and dinosaurs (which are basically just the ancestors of birds). I’m also a bit of a tea snob and would choose that over coffee any day of the week. And I used to be a belly dancer in college!

⬥⬥ WRITING ⬥⬥

What do you write?

My tastes are eclectic! I mainly write fantasy and science fiction because I like escaping from reality, but I have dabbled in romance and contemporary before. I adore complex characters with a lot of growth and development — anything from soft-hearted boys to snarky women to morally gray anti-heroes. I’m also a fan of gore and dark twists, so you’ll often find that in my stories. As well as humor. We all need a bit of levity in our lives! Learn more about my books.

When did you start writing?

Writing has always been a creative outlet for me, so it’s difficult to say exactly when I began. As a child, I first started out with fanfiction for video games and shows that I grew up with, such as the Legend of Zelda, Pokémon, and Cardcaptor Sakura. When I got too old to play pretend, I wrote my first novel in middle school, inspired by R.L. Stine’s Fear Street books.

What inspires you to write?

Everything — and that isn’t an exaggeration! Books, movies, anime, manga, nature, music, dreams… I draw inspiration from everything in my life. Sometimes tiny, random things will inspire me, like an ornate doorknob. I find myself wondering: who designed it? Why did they design it in such a way? And because I’m drawn to writing SFF, I wonder: what if that door led to a creepy or magical world? My stories usually come in bits and pieces to me (typically with a slew of questions like that) and slowly build up over months, or even years.

Where can I read or buy your books?

Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately, none are available to read or purchase at the moment, but check back again in the future to see if that has changed. For faster updates on my books, you can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter.

You can find advice, tips, and other writing-related resources in my newsletter and on my blog, which will be updated every so often. Follow me on Twitter to be alerted about new blog posts, or check back in a few days.

Will you beta read or critique my manuscript?

⬥⬥ ART ⬥⬥

What kind of art do you create?

I enjoy drawing and painting characters from video games, movies, shows, and my books, whether they’re realistic or cartoony or manga style. Some of my favorite pieces are of architecture, landscapes, and food. My style varies, as do my subjects. Check out my artwork!

Which medium do you use for your art?

I mainly draw with graphite, colored pencils, and ink, but I also enjoy watercolor paintings and acrylics. Recently, I started getting into digital art, and I love how easy it is to undo my mistakes! Right now, I’m using a Wacom Intuos Tablet and Clip Studio Paint. I am not professionally trained, but I’ve been an artist since I was little and I often watch art videos to improve my techniques.

Are you open for commissions?

Unfortunately, I am not at this time. But check back in the future — that may change!

May I share your art?

Of course! But please do not crop out my signature or claim it as your own.
